This documentary from area-filmmaker Mike Bacanu is called "Needlework," but it's about more than just fashion design. It chronicles the fascinating life of Cleveland designer John Anderson, who now runs Anderson Couture on the East Side. Anderson lived in Puerto Rico until he was 14, when he moved to Cleveland. From there, he went to Lincoln-West High School and Virginia Marti College of Art and Design in Lakewood, got married, had kids, and opened his business. He's got an interesting story and this is well worth 13 minutes of your time:
