A local filmmaker is receiving international attention after his short film, "Fishing Without Nets," made its world debut last week at Sundance Film Festival and claimed the U.S. Dramatic Directing Award.

Producer and Chagrin Falls native Brian Glazen said his film was one of 200 selected from a pool of 10,000 to be shown at Sundance this year. "I'd say for a Cleveland production company, I feel pretty lucky!" he recently told WKYC.

You may not be familiar with Glazen's latest film, which revolves around the Somalian pirating industry, but you've likely seen his Think Media Studios work here in Cleveland.

"We produce your Cavs videos that play on the screen with the big fire blowing out of them," he said. "We produce Ohio State University, all their sports intros from hockey to football to basketball. We do local corporate clients including Cleveland Clinic, Nestle, Parker Hannifin, Steris."

Folks hoping to catch a screening of Glazen's award-winning film may be in luck. The producer said he's working to get a distribituion deal with local movie theaters, Netflix and iTunes.

Until then, check out the official trailer below.
