Those big-ticket names join 2015 additions Melt, Barrio, Sweet Moses, Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Dynomite Burger, and the more recent announcements for the "Infield District": Happy Dog, Cleveland Pickle and Ohio City Burrito.
The Indians also announced that they'll be installing a brand-new beer garden with all sorts of Great Lakes Brewing Company beers on tap.
At this point, why go to the Near West Side at all when you can just go to an Indians' game instead, right? (We jest). It's cool that Progressive has made such an effort to celebrate local cuisine.
But Scene's "
2021" joke prediction, that the Indians would actually build a replica West Side Market inside Progressive Field
, was predicated on developments like these. A mini West Side Market doesn't seem so implausible these days.
In the meantime, can't go wrong with Momocho nachos or any of the offerings below.
