Moments in Irony

By now you probably not only know that the NBA's complete schedule is out, but all the fun details of the Cavs' 2009-2010 campaign. Boston to open the season, Lakers for Christmas, Orlando is the last game.

What's more interesting is that three teams, including the Cavs, were fined for leaking details of their schedules before the NBA's official announcement. The news of the leaking, of course, coming from an anonymous source leaking the news.

The NBA has fined three teams an undisclosed amount for leaking details of their schedules before the league released them.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves were penalized, an official with knowledge of the decisions told the Associated Press on Monday. The official requested anonymity because the fines were not publicly announced.
