Flamenco guitar player Wesley Washington is a hustler in the best sense of the word. His full-time job consists of selling his CDs while busking downtown and performing at local clubs. He met MegLouise Dance choreographer Megan Pitcher at one of her company’s performances a couple of years ago, and they built a friendship around the idea of an eventual collaboration. Then Washington met Vicky Poole when he performed at a Tremont art walk. When Poole took a job marketing events at the Galleria, they came up with a project that allows Washington’s Cloud 9 group a chance to collaborate with MegLouise Dance. They’ve recruited four other bands for the event, as well as some of Pitcher’s Tri-C students and painter Chester Hopkins, who fill the Galleria’s multi-floor Occasions room with a multi-arts party. Pitcher says she hopes her choreography will bridge the gap between stage and audience and will get everybody dancing. “I want people to feel like a part of the show,” says Washington. Other bands include Ohio Hip-Hop Award winner Tucept, the Dark Shine Pros, the Uncanny Xela and Vitium. Food and drinks will be available. It runs 8 p.m.-midnight at the Galleria at Erieview (1301 E. 9th St., 413.636.2759, ). Tickets: $20. — Michael Gill
