It’s not your average book signing, where you buy a book, stand in line and get an autograph while briefly telling the author how much you like his/her work. Instead, Visible Voice Books (1023 Kenilworth Ave., 216.961.0084) has snagged local writer/editor/journalism teacher Stuart Warner — the man Connie Schultz has credited with helping shape her work into Pulitzer Prize material when he was writing coach at The Plain Dealer — to promote his new book Jock: A Coach’s Story while hosting a wine-tasting reception. In addition to chatting with Warner about his work and book (a biography of a noted Kentucky basketball coach), visitors will get to sample five varieties of wine. Maybe a little buzz will put you in a book-buying mood, and you’ll come out with a stack. So beware! It starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10; reservations are recommended. — Anastasia Pantsios
