Everybody’s thinking green these days, especially young people, who have the most to lose in the despoiling of the planet. The Green Dream Eco-Friendly Showcase, now in its third year, was created by Beachwood High School students as a marketing and Junior Achievement class project. Its mission is “to unite consumers and businesses in a common goal of going green.” The marketplace-type event features 75 exhibitors who provide environmentally sound services and products. Last year, it attracted 4,000 attendees. The showcase runs from 1-7 p.m. at the Beachwood Community Center (25325 Fairmount Blvd., at Richmond Rd.).
