Beer Drinkers in Space Showgirls: Fully Exposed Edition
John Lorince will debate anyone who says you can't find a bargain anymore — especially when it comes to fine wine. The Pickwick & Frolic mouthpiece is the mastermind behind Wine Down Wednesday, when the restaurant sells bottles of recent-vintage red, white, and rosé wine for one cent above wholesale (usually $8.50 to $20). If the vinos prove popular, they could end up on the restaurant's permanent wine list. Lorince brought back the idea from a recent jaunt to Chicago. "I'm not proud to say it, but this comes from one of my bar-hopping moments," he laughs. "You'd be surprised to know how many ideas I have written down on a napkin in a bar."
