Ashley Spencer

Word is that local actress Ashley Spencer is one of two finalists on NBC's reality show, Grease: You're the one That I Want, which will cast the lead roles in a new Broadway rendition of Grease. I say "word is" because when the show aired last night, I was busy watching the Outdoor Life Network, tying to pick up tips on how to gut a trout while simultaneously shotgunning a Miller High Life and shaving my beard with a hunting knife. But I heard that Ashley, who is 21 and from Massillon, looked amazing and sounded even better as she belted out "Hopelessly Devoted To You." That's so awesome ... if you're into that kind of thing. — Joe P. Tone
