The
Lake County Captains take on the Lexington Legends at their first home game of the season tonight. Pay close attention to the field; theres a good chance some future Indians are honing their skills with the Captains, their Class A affiliate. The development of our players has always been the number one priority, says general manager Kevin Brodzinski. Watching the players evolve and move on to the highest level is satisfying to all -- especially the fans who chart their progress. The Captains celebrate their fifth anniversary this year with brand-new uniforms. But their drive remains the same. Its been an uphill battle, admits Brodzinski of the teams 242-175 lifetime record. But the talent here is evident.
