Beer Here!

Celebrate Labor Day like a German -- by drinking lots of beer.

This weekend’s Labor Day Oktoberfest in Berea is about more than just sitting around and drinking lots of German beer. It’s also about eating traditional food and dancing to ethnic tunes . . . while drinking lots of German beer. “I want this to be a multicultural event to reflect the diversity of Cleveland,” says organizer Bob Hass. In addition to performances by Hank Heller, the Fred Ziwich International Sound Machine, and the Spazmatics, look for a German-car show, cornhole tournies, and a 5K run. Plus, wiener-dog races!
