But she's no throwback, despite the shortage of hip-hop beats on Change. James enlists producers like Kanye West, Raphael Saadiq, and Wyclef Jean to envelop her in a silky, neo-soul blanket. It's baby-making music, but it's also music to get your solo groove on.
