As the Cavs tangle with the Houston Rockets at Asian Culture Celebration Night, Japanese lanterns will light the arena, concession stands will offer fortune cookies, and the halftime show will star taiko drummers. That’s because Yao Ming, the Rockets’ 7-foot-5 Chinese standout, is in town. Says Cavs spokeswoman Brooke Novak: “He has such a following. The stands are always packed when he’s here.”
