Funny Town

"There's an old saying in our business," says comic Bobby Collins. "If it works in Jersey and Cleveland, then it works around the country." With that in mind, the Los Angeles resident will be in town this weekend, testing new material. He'll discuss celebrities ("Is Star Jones a black Teletubby?"), TV when he was a kid ("We had only three channels. Now there's 280, and I can't find anything I like"), and more. He performs at Hilarities 4th Street Theatre (2035 East Fourth Street) through Sunday. Showtimes are 8 tonight, 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 to $23; call 216-241-7425.
Thu., Feb. 23, 8 p.m.; Fri., Feb. 24, 7:30 & 10:15 p.m.; Sat., Feb. 25, 7:30 p.m.
