Get a Leg Up

Old Angle offers a happy hour for folks who don't work 9-to-5.

Beer Drinkers in Space Showgirls: Fully Exposed Edition
Maintenance worker Jeremy Fuller used to have a tough time deciding which watering hole he’d hit after his Monday-afternoon shift at MetroHealth Medical Center. Not anymore. Since February, the Old Angle Tavern has reserved the beginning of the work week for Hot Legs, Cold Beer. The weekly outing features $2 bottles of Bud, Bud Light, and Miller Lite and 25-cent wings. “When I get off work, most happy hours are over with,” says Fuller. “This bar is down the street from the hospital, and I can get here in no time.” Regulars like Lee Campanelli can drink to that. “I thought they were having strippers when I heard about the hot legs,” he laughs. “Just as well, since the old lady knows I’m here all the time.”
