The 63rd annual
Cleveland Home & Garden Show, starting today, comes with the colorful theme "Holland in Bloom: A Dutch Masterpiece." Why Holland, you ask? Because tulips are way popular in the Netherlands, where their bulbs were once used as currency. Crazy! One of the 30 thematic gardens on display includes a canal, two windmills, and 12,000 tulips. Double crazy! The show culminates in a closing-night sale from 7 to 8 p.m., in which all those pretty plants can be yours, dirt cheap.
Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Feb. 6-9, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Fri., Feb. 10, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Starts: Feb. 4. Continues through Feb. 12
