Tammy Pescatelli now calls California home. But when it comes to sports, the Cleveland-born comic still carries a torch for her beloved Browns. Just don't make her watch a football game again with her New York-born fiancé. "The other day we were watching the Browns, and they were leading, with 34 seconds left in the game. He says, 'You can change the channel.' I said, 'No, you can't! You don't understand what it's like to be a fan from Cleveland! They'll lose the game on the way home from the game!'" says Pescatelli. "It's disgusting. It's gut-wrenching." Onstage, Pescatelli continues to develop new material, like a signature bit she's branded as her "what the hell's wrong with you?" number. "It's almost like saying you might be a redneck," she says. "Everyday, someone does something dumber than the next." Like root for the Steelers. Pescatelli takes the stage at 8 and 10:15 tonight and tomorrow night, and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Improv, 2000 Sycamore Avenue on the West Bank of the Flats. Tickets are $16. Call 216-696-4677 or visit
