Last Call Cleveland, the sketch comedy crew that intertwines daringly choreographed musical numbers with daringly tasteless gay jokes, will perform in the
House of Blues' Cambridge Room Sunday at 8 p.m.
I checked out their last show, so I was going to tell you that it was worth the $5 admission just see the opening comic, who killed. But then I remembered I had three Miller Lites that night, and I was, like,
so wasted, which made my credibility questionable at best. So I asked Mike Polk, the troupe's fearless leader, to give you the lowdown. Here's his pitch:
Holy Shitfire! Is it Christmas already?! It's not? Then the fat man done come early because Last Call Cleveland's Sketch Comedy Show at the House of Blues is the best present Cleveland could possibly ask for!
Last Call Cleveland was recently named "Cleveland's Best Comedy Group" by Cleveland Magazine, the area's hottest source for interviews with local candlemakers and pictures of unattractive people at poorly attended fundraisers!
Last Call Cleveland's combination of staged, taped and musical comedy has had audiences rolling for over four years now. So come and see what all the fuss is about! It's just five bucks. What a rockin' way to spend a Sunday night!
Also, they sell beer. See ya Sunday — Joe P. Tone
