Lock up your daughters. The Bad Boys of Rock tour comes to town tonight with a bunch of shirtless tattooed guys who like their music loud. The three bands -- Hinder, Papa Roach, and Buckcherry -- share more than an affinity for partying like they were in Led Zeppelin circa 1975. Apparently, none of them has heard a record released after 1990 either. Papa Roach dabbled in some rap rock back in the day, but lately it’s playing what is known as alt-metal -- which is just a fancy way of saying hard rock with some loopy time signatures. Buckcherry is best known for a song that proclaims -- for four straight minutes -- how much its members really, really love cocaine. And headliners Hinder are greasy southern dudes who leer at female audience members, swig bottles of booze onstage, and write big rock ballads straight outta the hair-metal rule book.
