Show some respect, and you'll get more dates. Tell your sex partners they're always right, and you'll get laid more often. That's the gospel according to California psychologist William Glasser, who lectures this weekend at The Journey: A Mind, Body & Soul Expo. The sanity-fest is three days' worth of workshops and programs on feel-good techniques, from aromatherapy to Zen meditation. Glasser's lectures on Saturday and Sunday will peddle his "choice-theory" brand of psychology, which he says can improve your sex life through compassion and respect.

But control freaks, beware. Criticizing, blaming, and nagging are "deadly habits" that will have you sleeping on the couch every night. "If you want to destroy a sexual relationship, tell your wife she's too fat or she doesn't smell too good." The Journey is 3 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lakeland Community College, 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland. Admission is $35 to $55; call 440-255-1638. -- Cris Glaser
