Making Themselves at Homo

The last place you'd think you'd catch 300 professional gay guys in one place would be in a straight bar. But that's the point behind G2H2 — or Gay Guys' Happy Hour — on the third Friday of each month. "We avoid meeting at gay bars, which are more haphazard and random," says club host Tony Paradiso. The guys have partied at straight clubs every month for more than three years. Last year, they met at high-end lounges like Vivo, Saucy Bistro, and the Ritz-Carlton. "We've been so welcome that we're actually getting calls, asking us to show up at their venues," says Paradiso. "From a business perspective, when you've got 300 gay guys drinking a lot in two and a half hours, you're going to make a lot of money."
