Shoot Me!

Cleveland theater
This morsel of news may stun a few foodies: The latest trend in culinary circles will be explored at tonight's Natural History of Asparagus dinner. Cleveland caterer and chef Ben Bebenroth will plate up a seven-course feast in which each dish contains shoots of the vegetable. Before you grab a barf bag, chew on this: Asparagus is a low-cal veggie, rich in folic acid, potassium, and fiber. "People are also experimenting with its taste," says spokeswoman Glenda Bogar. "It's so fresh." Taste for yourself at 6:30 tonight at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, 1 Wade Oval Drive in University Circle. Tickets are $150. Call 216-231-4600 or visit www.cmnh.org.
