Local artist Jim Morana jokingly refers to himself as “the real King James.” It’s a nickname he’s used for more than 15 years -- long before LeBron notched his first triple-double. Taking playful swipes at the Cavs’ star with paintings and short stories, the Pop Shop unveils Morana’s first comprehensive exhibit, King James, tonight. Most viewers will have a tough time finding any hoops-related imagery in Morana’s abstract work, which includes nearly 100 oil and acrylic paintings. Mondays-Fridays, 7 p.m. Starts: Feb. 12. Continues through March 17
