The award goes to... Darius Goes West

Darius Goes West, an uplifting documentary about a group of college kids who travel across the country with their friend Darius Weems, a 15-year-old suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, picked up top awards at the International Film Festival last night. The movie won both the audience choice and best documentary awards, the first coming with a $5,000 prize. This continues Darius Goes West's winning streak, having also finished in top spots at the Santa Barbara International Film Fest, the Oxford Film Fest and the Omaha Film Fest. — Rebecca Meiser
