More than 120 of Cleveland's movers and shakers put politics aside to clear their pipes for tonight's
Sing Out benefit for the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. The 10th annual concert counts judges, lawyers, mayors, pastors, and CEOs among the talent in the choir, which has been rehearsing for three weeks for the program. Under the direction of Kathryn Harsha, they range from Cleveland Muni Judge Ron Adrine and Cleveland NAACP chief Stanley Miller to Cleveland Law Director Robert Triozzi and state Senator Lance Mason. The fund-raiser also pays tribute to U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones and Shaker Heights Muni Court Judge K.J. Montgomery for their work to raise awareness about rape prevention. "The theme is 'We're All in This Together," says spokeswoman Carol Saferin. "How the large group comes together is so impressive, and the music and the message is so emotional and moving." Showtime is at 7 tonight at the Cleveland Play House, 8500 Euclid Avenue. Tickets are $100 to $250. Call 216-619-6194 or visit
