In its prime, Motown Records produced more knockouts than Chuck Liddell. The Play House’s Motown! (opening tonight) pays tribute to the songs people are still humming 40 years later. Local R&B singers and a live band work their way through Motown’s vast catalog. Expect to hear such classics as “My Girl,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” in this Club Cabaret Series musical.
