Weird Movie Time!

You probably won't see a more bleak and disturbing portrait of Russia than the one that unspools in 4. The film — which pissed off the country's censors, who lobbied unsuccessfully to have a third of the movie cut — begins in Moscow, where three strangers meet in a bar late at night. They share their stories with each other, but we soon learn that they're all lying. Before the film's finale — which culminates in an unsettling scene with naked old ladies devouring a pig — their real stories play out onscreen. They're all connected by slabs of meat, potent vodka, and stray dogs.
