Best Cleveland Freebie: Star-Spangled Spectacular Concert and Festival

So many people, so much potential for violence. It's a wonder a small riot hasn't broken out yet at the Cleveland Orchestra's free annual July 4 bash at Public Square. Apparently, the spirit of America must so move the more than 80,000 people who pack themselves into the downtown quadrant each year -- to listen to one of the world's best ensembles play such patriotic tunes as "America the Beautiful" and "The Stars and Stripes Forever," and to watch the city's most spectacular fireworks display -- that hurting one another is the last thing on their minds. Bravo, Cleveland, for keeping it safe for 15 years.
