R.I.P. Blender

Posted By on Thu, Mar 26, 2009 at 1:01 PM

My favorite music magazine, Blender, just closed.

The magazine was sold to different owners a couple years ago and never got its footing after that. The shitty economy and the even shittier way it's treated the publishing business hasn't helped. Recent issues have been a fraction of the hefty books that used to arrive in my mailbox each month. It was only a matter of time before it closed up shop. Its shuttering is a surprise to no one. Still, sad, sad news.
