LimeWire Store, Cleveland Scene and the wonderful TV Land show "Hot in Cleveland" are teaming up to present Ear to the Ground: Cleveland, a digital sampler of 19 up-and-coming indie bands from right here in Cleveland, put together by our very own Jeff Niesel.

The sampler showcases bands such as This Moment in Black History, Suede Brothers, Uno Lady and many others in an effort to create a wider audience for these independent artists. The sampler is available for a free download exclusively at LimeWireStore.

To coincide with the release of the album, the Grog Shop will be hosting a free show (aren't you loving this free theme?) on July 29 where select artists from the sampler will be performing. Bands scheduled to rock out are This Moment in Black History, Above This Fire, Prisoners and Suede Brothers.

So once again, go to LimeWire Store's Web site, download the sampler, and then head to the Grog Shop on July 29. It won't cost you a penny and will introduce you to some pretty awesome music from various Clevelanders, allowing you to jam to some home grown tunes.
