20 Cleveland Clambakes To Hit Up This Fall

Ah yes, autumn in Cleveland. Football, the changing of the leaves, the family outings to the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch.

But these aren't the only indications of fall in Northeast Ohio. It's also clambake season. There are some awesome options to get your clam on this October, so check them out.

White Oaks Restaurant

Where: 777 Cahoon Rd., Westlake
When: Every Friday and Sunday from the end of September through mid-November
Menu: One dozen tender middle-neck Clams, homemade New England clam chowder, corn on the cob, sweet potato fries with a side of honey and a choice of entree. With oven-roasted airline chicken breast, grilled strip steak with cabernet demi-glaze or with broiled Maine lobster tail with drawn butter. Prices vary per entree.

Stone Mad Pub

Where: 1306 West 56th St., Cleveland
When: Every Weekend Through October
Menu: Steak or chicken, one dozen clams, New England clam chowder, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob and dessert

When: Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through October 23rd, after 4 p.m.
Menu: Clambakes including 1 dozen clams, ½ roasted chicken, sweet potato, corn on the cob and a roll with cinnamon butter. You can add a strip steak or a half slab of barbecue ribs for $12. Clams available by the dozen as well.

Fisher’s American Tavern

Where: 28020 Miles Rd., Solon
When: Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through October.
Menu: One dozen clams, New England clam chowder, half roasted chicken corn on the cob, baked potato or sweet potato fries, cup of clam broth and drawn butter for $31.95. For the clams with a New York strip steak it’s $39.95.

Bruno’s Ristorante

Where: 2644 West 41st St., Cleveland
When: Every Friday and Saturday through October 30th
Menu: Homemade clam chowder, one dozen middleneck clams, choice of Bruno’s special roasted half chicken ($32), cornish hen ($32) or tender filet of beef ($42), sweet corn on the cob, sweet potato bake, homemade white clam pasta and Chef Bruno’s choice of house dessert.

Menu: Clam only clambake with one dozen clams, clam broth, New England clam chowder, potato, coleslaw and corn for $28. With chicken for $30. With 12 oz. strip steak for $33. An extra dozen clams for $12.

Menu: Classic clambake option for $35 includes clams, chowder, a half chicken, kielbasa sausage, half ear of corn on the cob and roasted redskin potato. Add a dozen clams for $15.

When: Daily through the season
Menu: Order a dozen clams as an appetizer f or order the full clam bake. The clam bake begins with a cup of clam chowder, followed by a dozen clams, and is completed with your choice of half a chicken or steak, served with corn on the cob and a baked sweet potato.
