As part of the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve’s 20th Anniversary Founder’s Exhibition, the organization is premiering its new Oral Histories Documentary Film Project. The project consists of 11 short documentaries (approximately 4 minutes each) profiling 11 Archived Artists, including three of the original founding Archived Artists). These films were created by Akron independent filmmaker Ted Sikora and noted Cleveland photographer Charles Mintz. These shorts profile each artist through their personal creative process, aesthetic choices, exhibition history, education and relationships with other notable area artists. The films will be screened from 1 to 3 p.m. today. Admission is free. (Usmani)
