The Head of the Cuyahoga (HOTC) is the largest rowing regatta in Northeast Ohio!
Collegiate, youth/scholastic, and masters rowing teams as well as individual scullers will be racing. Last year, more than 2,000 rowers from 51 local and out-of-state programs competed on the Cuyahoga river.
Boats race a 5,000-meter course from just north of Arcelor Mittal Steel to Rivergate Park (you can see the finish line from the patio at Cleveland Metroparks' popular Merwin’s Wharf restaurant).
