25 New Year's Eve Parties in Cleveland For Less Than $30

If you're looking for somewhere to party this New Year's Eve without breaking the bank, don't worry, not every bar in town is charging hundreds of dollars for an open bar. This list of bars, restaurants and venues in town are all charging under $30 to get in their New Year's parties, and some don't have any cover at all. Once you get in, how much you spend is on you, so don't blame us, at least we got you there.

YSL at JACK Thistledown Racino

21501 Emery Rd., North Randall

Celebrate being young, successful and lit, otherwise known as YSL at the Thistledown Racino. The night kicks off with a meet-and-greet and then moves into the sixth floor ballroom where DJ Walk and Shonny Mac will perform tunes throughout the evening. The ball drop will be shown on the Racino’s big screen, which usually shows the ponies racing. Cost of admission is $15, which includes a toast and appetizers.

The Kilroy’s at Stone Mad Pub

1306 West 65th St., Cleveland

Rock out to some sped-up Irish tunes with local punk Irish band The Kilroys. They’ll be playing at Stone Mad Pub in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. While there’ll be a traditional celebration at midnight, there’ll also be a countdown to 7 p.m., which is midnight in Ireland.

Stouty at Moxie

3355 Richmond Rd., Beachwood

There’s no cover at Moxie in Beachwood, where they’ll be celebrating the end of the year with Darrell Stout, aka Stouty, in charge of entertainment for the night. Stouty is a local DJ and radio host and will surely have the crowd grooving to some tunes throughout the night at this upscale establishment.
