33rd Annual Fine Print Fair Staff Pick

When: Thu., Sept. 12 2019
This weekend, the Cleveland Museum of Art hosts the Print Club of Cleveland's 35th annual Fine Print Fair in its Ames Family Atrium. The Print Club of Cleveland is a nonprofit group founded in 1919 to enrich the museum's permanent print collection. Art dealers from around the country will exhibit and sell fine art prints and drawings, ranging from classical masters to contemporary, living artists, at this annual benefit for the CMA's Department of Prints. This year's Fine Print Fair begins with a benefit preview party tonight from 6 to 9 p.m.; it continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, curator Heather Lemonades, curator of prints and drawings at the Cleveland Museum of Art, will discuss the history of printmaking at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the museum's Gartner Auditorium.
