One of the most unique sounding synthesizers ever invented, the Roland TR-808 Drum Machine helped changed the course of music history. 808: The Movie, a documentary about the instrument, chronicles how acts such as Pharrell, Beastie Boys, David Guetta, Phil Collins, Rick Rubin, Lil Jon, Afrika Bambaataa, Questlove, Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), Diplo, Goldie and more have used the instrument.
