Collaboration Kickoffs - Friday, October 9, 7-10 p.m.
The opening ceremony has to be grand for beer week, and we approve of the festivities. The ultimate bar crawl includes six neighborhoods and eight small-batch collaboration beers brewed by 24 local and national breweries on draft. Just for the event, Great Lakes Brewing Company is rolling out Mash Appeal, a pre-prohibition style brew with a malt favor and tart finish. Count us in. Each neighborhood including Lakewood, Tremont and Ohio City has a different check in location. Tickets are $25. You can purchase tickets and find all the check in locations here.

Offshore Pour - Monday, October 12, 6-9:30 p.m.
What's better than cracking open a beer on a boat? Nothing. The Nautica Queen sets sail Monday and onboard will be a boat load of craft breweries to sip on. Don't feel too bad about getting smacked because, remember, proceeds benefit the Malone Scholarship Program. Drinking with a cause makes it a little less shameful. Board on the Nautica Queen (1153 Main Avenue
Cleveland). Tickets are $45. You can purchase them here.
