Re: “Peter Asher & Albert Lee

The Telegraph has an outstanding online article from November 2016 - under the headline - "Peter Asher and Albert Lee perform A World Without Love in exclusive music session". And a little trivia pulled from the story......Asher's mother taught legendary producer George Martin to play the oboe.

Re: “Tom Petty Tribute by Shadow of Doubt (in the Supper Club)

I saw these guys at the Music Box Supper Club and they were great. By far the best tribute band I've seen. They are spot on with Tom Petty songs. Can't wait to catch them again at Slim and Chubby's in Strongsville August 26.

Re: “An American in Paris

American in Paris was the best Musical I have seen in Cleveland in decades! Fabulous Singing, Dancing, Orchestra & Acting. The Sets were also wonderful. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely musical!

Re: “Bone Thugs N Harmony

Last evening was absolutely the worst concert experience of my life. And I am an avid concert enthusiast.

My husband is a fan of Bone Thugs N Harmony so I thought I would surprise him with tickets for last nights concert. I bought them legitimately, in advance, through TicketWeb. Your website announced Bone and no opening act. Other sites mentioned NEPTUNE as an opening act. Everyone stated that doors opened at 6pm. Your site stated that there would be about 30-60 minutes before the show started.

We arrived at 7 pm. Waited in line for about an hour. Were asked to see our tickets in line and had a guy telling people that some of the tickets may not be valid and we may need to purchase at the door. Then my husband was patted down like we have never experienced before.

After entering the venue and watching countless ear-deafening amateur performers we started to inquire when Bone was actually going to get on stage. Only to get comments that it wouldn't be until 11 pm. Then it was "after the CAVS game".

My husband leaves for work at 4:30 am. By 11 pm we had to leave so he could get a little sleep as we live 30 minutes away. From the comments online, it seems they weren't even on stage by midnight.

Nowhere on the site or any promotional ticket sites was it mentioned that 1) there would be hours of amature "entertainment" or that 2) the main act wouldn't be on stage until well after doors open or in actuality after midnight.

It was a waste of ticket and parking money for us.

Re: “The Mike Polk Jr. Show Live

Zzzz...Who wants the over/under 10 in total attendance tonight (excluding the venue staff).
$5.00 cover charge ? - That's less than a 12 pack of Natty Light of which you should drink before going in to see this show...

Re: “Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon

The courses occasionally receive a makeover -- but the fastest marathon and 10k routes remain the original ones plotted out by Reno Starnoni, the first race director who brought world-class racers to the roads due to his solid connections around the globe.

Re: “The Hooley

Kamm's Corners "Hooly" is great event, enjoyed by all. Has the welcoming vibe of a community festival. Rain or shine, those Irish folks sure know how to celebrate a good time. Where are the food trucks, and more ladies in kilts needed, would give it 5-stars. Main-stage live-music volume could be a click lower, and would encourage more people to dance front-and-center. Be sure to wear or light up your green, before heading over. Dog friendly, and get a sitter to relax already.

Re: “The Cleveland Arts Prize

There are a couple of problems with this listing. First you list the event being from 6-8 with a special entry at 5 for sponsors so to speak, when you call MOCA they told me the event was from 5-8 with no mention of the requirement to pay more to get in at 5. Next, in the article displayed today, it say tonight we will announce...which really sounds like there is an event tonight to announce the winners and the celebration is tomorrow. And finally when you click on the link given which is to MOCA, there is not a single mention of the event on their site..A link to actual information would be nice and a link to the artists in the running, perhaps a bio or 2 and a link to the speakers and their background and why they are the speakers might have made this a more attractive event.
