Re: “Shuck Yeah!

Pros: oysters were great, staff was friendly
Cons: every single other thing. Food was embarrassing, entire event was laid out poorly, staff didn't understand what had been promised to ticketholders.

I would really recommend involving an event planner in the future.

Re: “Bone Thugs N Harmony

Last evening was absolutely the worst concert experience of my life. And I am an avid concert enthusiast.

My husband is a fan of Bone Thugs N Harmony so I thought I would surprise him with tickets for last nights concert. I bought them legitimately, in advance, through TicketWeb. Your website announced Bone and no opening act. Other sites mentioned NEPTUNE as an opening act. Everyone stated that doors opened at 6pm. Your site stated that there would be about 30-60 minutes before the show started.

We arrived at 7 pm. Waited in line for about an hour. Were asked to see our tickets in line and had a guy telling people that some of the tickets may not be valid and we may need to purchase at the door. Then my husband was patted down like we have never experienced before.

After entering the venue and watching countless ear-deafening amateur performers we started to inquire when Bone was actually going to get on stage. Only to get comments that it wouldn't be until 11 pm. Then it was "after the CAVS game".

My husband leaves for work at 4:30 am. By 11 pm we had to leave so he could get a little sleep as we live 30 minutes away. From the comments online, it seems they weren't even on stage by midnight.

Nowhere on the site or any promotional ticket sites was it mentioned that 1) there would be hours of amature "entertainment" or that 2) the main act wouldn't be on stage until well after doors open or in actuality after midnight.

It was a waste of ticket and parking money for us.

Re: “Senior Expo

What a bust. So disappointed in this event --- where were all the exhibitors that were promised?

Re: “Meat Loaf

Good Luck, we were at the Friday show. The backing band and Cian Coey were good but Meat was not. Would have probably left if we weren't with others. He needs to hang it up, especially at these prices. Looking at the ticketmaster reviews from around the country this is not a new development.

Re: “Don’t Try This at Home Tour

Should if been called " u had to be there". Stories of stupid shit that bet was funny if u were there. No videos to accompany the stories. They are not comedians and frankly can barely get a sentence out, particularly Chris Pontius. What a let down. Advice, watch reruns. I feel like I just found out Santa wasn't real.

Re: “The Singing Angels - Holiday Spectacular

The Singing Angels require the parents to sign a release of liability and then fail to provide the children with safety and security. All performances end in a Free for all with children frantically looking for their parents, unable to locate them or get any help to locate them. As young as 9 years old these children are left to fend for themselves in crowds of people with the parents waiting in locations that their children are not delivered to. There is no security or safety for these children. It's a nightmare!

Re: “Food, Fabulous Food

Far less vendors than last year in the beer and wine tasting. I've been going to these for the last five years with fellow microbrew company. This year they were turned down and only two (yes, TWO!) major local brewing companies were there! Giant Eagle really let a lot of us down. Shame on them!

Re: “Cider Rules

OK first of all they are not reuniting. Unfortunately they never broke up. I saw them play in March, and they were gay. Just like they've always been. Notice I'm reviewing the event now. A day before it happens. Just to let you know how suck I know it will be. They sing with English accents, so maybe they should move there, and go away forever.

Re: “Fairview Park Food Truck Festival

Toooo many people, not enough food trucks--had to wait a half hour to order and an hour to pick up the food. The bad was way too loud, and there weren't enough places to sit. Lines for the inflatables irritated kids, and there was no where for parents to sit while the kids waited in line and bounced. Definitely not going back next time. We were hot, exhausted, starving , and cranky when we got home, and I imagine there were hundreds in the same boat.

Re: “Fu Manchu/Electric Citizen/Mofos

Huh? Ken Pucci left the band in 1990. In fact they didn't even call themselves Fu Manchu when Ken was in the band, but rather, Virulence. Scott Hill has handled lead vocals and guitars ever since their second vocalist, Glenn Chivens, also left the band in 1990.

Re: “Parenting Expo Cleveland

This was a bust -- I won tickets to attend the Parenting Expo Cleveland at the IX Center which I passed along to my son & future daughter in law & they attended with their 6 mo. old. There were only 8 booths and when they went by the booth(s) to see what it was all about, the individuals ignored them, didn't even look at them. They were just talking to themselves Yes Jim Tressel was there and they got pictures, but they would have not attended since driving from Ravenna, OH to attend, pay for $8.00 in parking to attend something with only 8 booths & some of the individuals at left. Needs more planning & attendance for next year, if there is another year event.

Re: “620 Club

I went there a few weeks ago for a friends birthday and all I can say is SCAM!!!!! The guys claimed they were filming a 'reality tv pilot' when all we saw was one guy walking around with what looked like a digital camera from walmart taping some half naked little boys running around in halloween costumes.

And if you want to get raped/mugged/shot downtown, then your best chance is to go to 620. Then I talk to my friend who knows a dancer and said the one on the right went to jail for beating up his girlfriend!!! Seriously!?? And you expect to let these guys jump around on us girls??

We wil NEVER be back! Thanks for nothing Iron Men!

Re: “Ohio Brewing Company

The brewer (Chris Verich) will be out of business very soon. This is his second pub and he will run it into the ground like his first one in Warren. He has no business sense and never pays his employees or bills on time.

Re: “Bellefaire JCB

There needs a law that prevents them from doing this. If they want children so bad then do it the natural way

Re: “Keith Emerson & Greg Lake

Welcome back my friends to the drama that never ends. A near capacity crowd left disappointed and disgusted when the announcement came 40 minutes after the Keith Emerson and Greg Lake concert was scheduled to begin to cancel the show. No, this was not a cute April Fool’s joke. Some attendees had traveled over 200 miles to see the very first show on this mini tour from two of the famed three piece progressive rock band Emerson, Lake, and Palmer at the Lakewood Civic Auditorium. Fans were stuck taking photos of Emerson’s Moog synthesizer sitting dormant on stage and clutching what may be collectable souvenir tour t-shirts and posters. Sources said that the two had been in Cleveland rehearsing for a couple of days and had heated arguments throughout. It must have come to a boil just before the house lights were turned down as both musicians refused to take the stage. After going to rock ‘n roll shows for over 35 years, this was the first time I had attended a show that was called due to stupidity. It’s been decades since the band used to sell out stadiums and arenas, so it seems the AARP rocker’s actions seem to be more adolescent than mature in their comeback attempt. Ticket holders should return to the point-of-purchase for refunds or contact Live Nation at 440.247.2722 for more information.
