Re: “Rising Star: Emma Scheer, Pastry Chef at the Union Club

Erm, that should have read that "deserts" does not equal "desserts." Spelling counts.

Re: “All-You-Can-Eat Sushi and Hot Pot Make a Comeback at Kintaro

We went last evening. Just OUTSTANDING! The hot pot was just awesome and sushi was fresh, cold and very tasty. Wife and I shared both. The hot pot was so much fun and the choices of ingredients are many and all good. Staff/server was wonderful, so friendly and very helpful. This will be our new place - our HOT SPOT for Hot Pot. 5-stars for this one.

Re: “Fizz and Pop: Mike Gulley Brings Homegrown Cleveland Soda to Market and Bar

Cotton Club hasn't been a local brand for almost two decades:

"In 1998, the American Bottling Co. acquired Cotton Club Bottling Co. In 2000, American Bottling Co. announced that it would shut down its Cleveland-area plant and move production to Columbus."

Re: “The 5 Dishes That Made Me: Eddie Zalar, Chef-owner of Nora

We went to Nora for the 1st time this past Saturday night. 3 of the 4 of us enjoyed our meals but my husband ordered the Ossobuco because he LOVES marrow & was so disappointed. The marrow was great but the veal was over cooked, not charred but dry because it was over cooked. That's a real shame. He did not complain or send it back. We will give the restaurant another try. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer and we liked the atmosphere.

Re: “The 20 Essential Cleveland Bars

Could I suggest you put the address/website/phone # on this list? Yes I've heard of Google but I've also heard of helpful journalism. A lot of your reporting requires customer self service ...

Re: “The 20 Essential Cleveland Bars

Hofbrhaus.....scene musta got paid to add that place to the list.....just go to the Q and drink - it's about the same but no cavs to entertain you.....

.....agree with some of the others but you guys need to get out more before you write a list like this....
