Re: “The Cleveland Arts Prize

There are a couple of problems with this listing. First you list the event being from 6-8 with a special entry at 5 for sponsors so to speak, when you call MOCA they told me the event was from 5-8 with no mention of the requirement to pay more to get in at 5. Next, in the article displayed today, it say tonight we will announce...which really sounds like there is an event tonight to announce the winners and the celebration is tomorrow. And finally when you click on the link given which is to MOCA, there is not a single mention of the event on their site..A link to actual information would be nice and a link to the artists in the running, perhaps a bio or 2 and a link to the speakers and their background and why they are the speakers might have made this a more attractive event.

Re: “DANCECleveland presents Ballet Biarritz in Cinderella

This should NEVER be advertised as a ballet, modern dance maybe and I have never seen anything so convoluted as this "interpretation " of Cinderella. This was a birthday gift from my daughter so that I could spend the afternoon with her and my granddaughter. My daughter spent the entire show trying to help my granddaughter understand what was going on. Never again modern dance for us. When it says ballet we expect traditional Ballet.

Re: “Senior Expo

What a bust. So disappointed in this event --- where were all the exhibitors that were promised?

Re: “Deconstructing the Beatles' Revolver

"Rain" was the B-side to "Paperback Writer" and regularly performed in concert by Noel Redding as a salute to John Lennon.

Re: “2017 MAC Tournament

The big talk among hardwood pundits may surround any MAC assistant coaches who could be ready to take the next step.....and may be the next head coach at Cleveland State due to the retirement of Gary Waters. The Vikings remain an afterthought with area sports fans and the upcoming reboot cannot be a squandered opportunity to reintroduce the program on the recruiting trail. And if CSU officials are dreaming big for a mid-major team -- Mark Gottfried is available.

Re: “Barbecue

A play with several dimensions, a hilarious first half and more thought provoking, but still often funny, second act. Some really outstanding performances from members of both families.

The big news surrounding the game will be in the stands -- Charles Oakley.

So much fun every year! Definitely recommend to all my family and friends! Even better the money raised goes to help the homeless and unwanted dogs of CLE.
