Re: “Eerie Photos of the Old and Abandoned Euclid Square Mall

As stated by a previous commenter, the mall is not dead. There are no less than 20 "storefront" churches that operate in the mall. As well as a barber, an online radio/tv broadcaster, daycare and one food provider. Yes, the outlet store closed, but the mall owners are receiving enough rent to keep up on the property. Now the out parcels on the other hand... yeah, those are mostly dead.

Re: “20 of the Most Overrated Bands and Musicians of All Time

Mike Pavlic..
"I guess 3 Doors Down, Queens of the Stone Age, Nickleback, Fall Out Boy and every other band like them would get your vote for the Rock Hall someday.....horrible."

If you put QOTSA in the same sentence with those so called "post-grunge" pseudo-emotion sell outs, your comment's effect will vanish! You must know what you are talking about!

Re: “10 Cleveland Fish Fries Worth a Visit this Season

Prosperity Social Club in Tremont has the best fish fry I have had in a long time. During lent they are open for lunch on Fridays. They also have great side options too if you do not want french fries.

Re: “20 Musical Memories From the Richfield Coliseum

Jethro Tull closely followed by Peter Gabriel. Both were unforgettably awesome shows.

Re: “20 of the Most Overrated Bands and Musicians of All Time

Oasis? Really? You mean the band that released the UK's all-time fastest selling album? The band that managed to shift 22m copies of (What's The Story) Morning Glory? The holders of the British record for highest demand for concert tickets for a single event?

Oh yeah, I'd love to see Blur pull that off

Re: “20 of the Most Overrated Bands and Musicians of All Time

I have never heard of a few of these bands, so you can not say they were tooooo over-rated. Yes, I am older but I am exposed to different music from my two children, ages 24 and 30. The most over-rated bands of all time are the beatles, pink floyd and I do agree with grateful dead. All these bands were played way too much and were not anything special. Some dare to call the Beatles rock!!!!! POP is more like it.

Re: “19 Vintage Photos of Cleveland's Little Italy

I lived at the top of Murray Hill in the early '70's. Remember seeing white power sprayed on the walls. White power did not mean white skin, blue eyes and blond hair. Nope, it was olive skin and dark hair. I saw a few nasty fights at the Feast where they took a guy with long hair and beat the crap out of him. As much as possible I took the bus from University circle to the top of the hill if I was alone, but when I was with my friend (from Italy) all was good. Somewhere along that time the Italians were all moving out to the 'burbs and some of my friends opened business's down there. Now, on my photo journeys it looks like the Italians are returning to claim their turf. Not so crazy now.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the "Click to Enlarge" part of this website design is pure fiction? It just goes to the next photo. Fix that!

THE CUTE LITTLE CAKE SHOP in Strongsville! The BEST gourmet cupcakes and cake balls you will ever eat! A total MUST TRY if you are in the Cleveland area. All of the places mentioned are fabulous, too! We are lucky to have so many sweet local pastry/bakery/candy shops in the Cleveland area.
