Re: “At the All-Star break, a Conversation With Jason Kipnis on the Team's Struggles, His Struggles, and How They Can Get Back to the World Series

"Cleveland fans have held up their end of the bargain"

If this year's attendance is holding up the bargain, we're in trouble. Attendance is only good on a few select Friday and Saturday night games in mid-summer with fireworks and giveaways.

The Indians are 26/30 in MLB in attendance. That's pathetic for a team that was in the World Series last year. St. Louis, a smaller market, is averaging 7,000 more than the current capacity of Progressive Field.

Re: “Billy Joel Delivers Marathon Concert at Progressive Field

"Don't Ask Me Why" is a Billy Joel original. "A Day in the Life" was the Beatles song.

Re: “Book of 'Lost' Dead Boys Photos to Be Published in September

Before the Cleveland-Akron connection on the hardwood floor, there was the Dead Boys (Cleveland)-Devo (Akron) influence on the USA and UK punk/new wave scene....which can still be heard today.

Re: “Tom Petty Tribute by Shadow of Doubt (in the Supper Club)

I saw these guys at the Music Box Supper Club and they were great. By far the best tribute band I've seen. They are spot on with Tom Petty songs. Can't wait to catch them again at Slim and Chubby's in Strongsville August 26.

Re: “The 20 Essential Cleveland Bars

Sunset Grille on the same list as the VTR & Porko's??? Wow! Not even a mention of the Clifton Wine and Martini Bar. Sad that someone even put this list together. Those that like a good cocktail know there are more places out there that aren't even on the radar like the Blue Point Grille Bar at Happy Hour. Prosperity Social Club or the Bourbon Barrel too. The Sunset Grille was really a laugher...

Any performance longer than 2 and 1/2 hours gets tiresome............except sex.

Re: “Watch Californians Try to Pronounce Ohio City Names

Yep. It's hard, 'specially when they hear "Nerk, Ahia"

I live in north Los Angeles county now, so when I return to CBus, I mess with my friends and ask them to pronounce "Sepulveda." and "Cuahuenga"

Yes, I am mean to them.

Re: “Billy Joel Delivers Marathon Concert at Progressive Field

A Springsteen concert is much longer than a marathon.
It's more like a dog sled race across the entire length of Siberia.

Re: “Billy Joel Delivers Marathon Concert at Progressive Field

I am sure this was a great show, heard that from many who were there. How can you refer to it as a marathon? If it was an hour longer it would have been the length of an average Springsteen concert.

Re: “'I Will Not Be Whoring Out My Medical License to Recommend Pot': Physicians Don't Seem Thrilled With Ohio's Medical Marijuana Law

My dad was diagnosed of Emphysema (COPD) in 2014 and we have tried all possible means to get cured, we even visited pulmonologist but all to no avail, until i saw a post in a health forum about a herbal doctor from joburg who prepare herbal medicine to cure all kind of diseases including Emphysema, at first i doubted if it was real but we decided to give it a try, when i contacted this herbal doctor via his email he sent me the Emphysema herbal medicine through courier service, when i received this herbal medicine, he gave us step by instructions on how to apply it, three weeks later my dad went back for test and he was informed that he was free from this deadly disease.
Here are the information to contact this doctor abumereherbalcentre @ gmail. com OR http: // abumereherbalcentre . com

Re: “Collision Bend Puts the Restaurant Back in the Brewery

Went there for my wife's birthday, at her request. Typical foodie fare...tiny portions that look good but are mostly sizzle instead of steak, mostly just good looks on the plate, Edible was another story. Fish taco was okay and so was the big cheesy meatball in its own sauce, but the overpriced "bistro steak" was nothing more than a few stringy slices of gristly beef that almost made my wife choke. She actually had to spit some of it out. That's rare for her.

Aside from the steak, everything was...well...okay. About what one would expect from the revived East Bank on a Friday night. Lots of well-heeled dudes and dudettes, pretty young things and prowling cougars. I'm strictly old school...give me a joint like Sokolowski's any time.
