Re: “Dawg Pounded

Great show! We loved every hysterical minute of it. The Parody Songs were timely, especially "Text Man" and " To Coach the Uncoachable Team", sung by what we thought was an Understudy. He was so good. Pittsburgh Pete you just love to hate. That actor was perfect. His accent was true yinzer! Everyone who is a Browns fan should see this play and know that misery is funny if you share it in a bar. Go Browns!!!

Re: “Khaos & Nyx

6-13-15..What a fantastic performance! If you haven’t heard or seen these two play yet, you must soon. Amongst the highly entertaining set list included spine chilling renditions of “What’s Up?” (4 Non Blondes) and “White Rabbit” (Jefferson Airplane), the latter of which the crowd demanded replayed during an impromptu encore. We were also treated to great covers of “The Rain Song” (Led Zeppelin), “Love Interruption” (Jack White), and “Never Tear Us Apart” (INXS), just to name a few more. I woke up this morning, 2 days later, still floored by their limitless talent and capabilities. Thank You, Khaos & Nyx, for an awesome night of music and I look forward to seeing more!

Re: “Back on Track

Dave was excellent and on a roll for a good hour with a 95% great crowd behind him until a series of morons derailed his set for at least 10 minutes (after polite and repeated warnings before the show even began). Comedians headlining 3,000 seat theater gigs are not looking for an interactive experience unless they EXPLICITLY ASK FOR ONE. When you have an entire theater of paying customers yelling at you to shut up and shushing you, take the note. Again, Dave was outstanding. I've read about a lot of problems at his other shows and from the Cleveland experience, it is squarely the audience's fault (a small but significant, loud and insufferably rude subset of the audience).

Re: “1st Annual Give Thanks Fundraiser

This is a GREAT cause. The Free Thanksgiving Dinner, held for the last 23 years in Olmsted Falls, serves over 1,000 free meals to anyone alone, elderly, home bound, or in need on the holiday. Meals are also delivered to on-duty police and fire personnel in Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, and Berea, Ohio.

Re: “Merrick (Rocks the) House Benefit Concert

On Thursday, May 7, 2015 I noticed a advertisement in Scene for the annual
Merrick {Rocks the} House to be held at the House of Blues on Euclid Avenue
in Cleveland, Ohio. Spotting a opportunity to continue my “love
tour” {looking for a wife} by attending various fundraisers in the hopes of
{as my sister often told me} meeting nice people where nice people gather.
I've never been to a “rock the house” party not to mention one being used to
raise money so I decided to make the scene.

I arrived on or about 9:00 PM and expected only to stay two hours.
Approaching the front entrance I encountered members of the volunteer
sign-in group. All were very friendly and warm {tempered by a charitable attitude}.
Determined then to consume some liquid courage I proceeded to the bar.

Upon entering the stage venue I got a immediate sense of positive energy and
well being generated by those who were attending as well as those operating all
the displays, entertainment, food, etcetera. Everyone was nice and very
accepting. You had the sense you were among friends even though the only
person I knew who was not present was Bill Wintour; a former co-worker of
mine and long time supporter of the cause.

All in all I would say this event was a success and I look forward to
attending in 2016 and beyond. The Merrick House crew demonstrated that in the best
essence of the cliché this settlement house empower individuals,
families and neighborhoods and will continue to so long as
this loving group of people gather for such a worthy cause.
Take care and see you in 2016. I’m Joe Bialek and I approve this message.

Re: “Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

Two Hours and 40 minutes of incredible performance. They killed it with ROCK AND ROLL and Levee Breaks. Jason is a showman and knows how to talk to the crowd. Its great that Cleveland was his first tour date sellout this year. The other musicians in the band all did an amazing job playing so well.
Also, the rocksino is a great place to see a show.
