Re: “Ohio's Dog Breeding Regulations Aren't Solving the Puppy Mill Problem

My fiance bought a pure breed "German sheppard" in September 2017 from ol danny. The second I saw the dog I knew it wasn't a German sheppard. After looking into Daniel Miller I'm not surprised to find all the negativity. I wouldn't be surprised if someone set his kennel on fire due to his response to customer complaints. I will be contacting this thief. If I were amshish I would be running this man out of the community. He's giving the Amish a very bad name. I hope your reading this dan. One day that little light of yours is going to get stopped out. Not by me but you'll rip off the wrong man someday. God bless you. You con artist. Your parents are ashamed of you.

Re: “The Furious Saga of Bernie Moreno, Car Dealer Turned Tech Evangelist

Moreno's entire reasoning seems to be the equivalent of saying "everything, absolutely everything, on the entire internet is going to be IPv6 [which is accurate] so whatever city can become the hub for IPv6 is going to experience a huge windfall [which is completely nonsensical]."

Re: “The Furious Saga of Bernie Moreno, Car Dealer Turned Tech Evangelist

I had the privilege of working with Bernie on this year's Cleveland Chain Reaction. He's a force of nature, utterly good for his word, and can take a good amount of ribbing. Everyone walks away from him feeling like they've become "a Bernie Moreno Company."

Re: “The Furious Saga of Bernie Moreno, Car Dealer Turned Tech Evangelist

With Cleveland's Blockland Conference Adult Registration cost set between $500 for a single day, and $995 for the full four days, who under 35, young entrepreneur or not, has that kind of money and time, to basically explore the latest in double-entry bookkeeping Apps, available through cloud computing ?

Are they offering scholarships ?
or, inviting promising Cisco Program participants from Parma, Brush, or Polaris secondary schools ?

Nice to see a look at this guy who is trying to do something, even if a little fluffy. He is already a force in town, so time will tell if he is good or evil.

Re: “Life in the Kill Zone

That was a very well written article, but people are so nave to the dangers of nuclear fission. The risk is not worth the reward!

Re: “A Man Who Dresses in Medieval Garb and Walks Around Downtown is a Strange Ranger. But is He Dangerous?

Sir Douche-a-lot was right in the middle of today's fracas on the Kent State campus, visibly attacking counter-protesters while law enforcement folks literally had his back. Trouble follows him like stink follows shit.

You can see him on the Channel 19 footage ,hitting people with his shield. He makes himself a target, provokes the opposition, and then gets protection from the blue wall. What an a-hole...obviously a provocateur on somebody's payroll. The same somebodies who probably paid his way to Kent and took him there. He is not acting alone.

Re: “Father Under Fire: A Westlake Church Rallies Around its Pastor After Charges that He Sexually Abused His Adopted Daughter

I know this pastor has been brain washing the church for years that this adopted daughter is troubled and always lies...so of course the church believes him over her. They only hear his side of it. The fact that this family has no pictures up of just her and even has sent Christmas cards to church members with everyone in his family except her, makes me believe she was singled out for a long time. Her behavior has tons of red flags of sexual abuse. Law inforcement wouldnt indict and arrest unless they had enough evidence. I pray this girl can heal and get the counseling and support she desperately needs.

Re: “Keep Cleveland Creepy

Why do people have to find fault in everything? Of course not a true practitioner wrote this and even if the person is practicing theres only so much room and space to be able to write everything. I mean seriously people, The article listed new stores to help promote new businesses and some already established business.. and to sit there and say you wont mention places because you will not be welcomed, its people like you CLEVELOCAL that give our culture a bad name. And as in with it being a westside thing, BLAH BLAH, it only makes sense as Who the hell wants to drive to the Eastside it looks like a damn war zone

Re: “Keep Cleveland Creepy

Who wrote this? Not a true practitioner. Why isn't a Goddess Elite listed? What about the Dragon's Mantle? Then There are about a dozen places I won't mention because you will not be welcomed.

Re: “Keep Cleveland Creepy

The article seems judgmental. Horrifying? Creeps? It may seem strange to some people, but that's what makes our city unique. And you forgot about the historical aspects of the city. Like our cemeteries, our architecture, and things such as that. Yes Cleveland is a sports town, but I love the option of going off the beaten path if I feel like it. I'll take horrifying and creepy over the flats and east 4th street anyday.

Seems that this is a west side thing. Makes sense, as everything else over there is so lame

Re: “Livin' La Vida Polka

I am sad to report that Sylvia (Paul) Namitka Polkas passed on 9-16-18. Paul and Polkas were a dynamic group. At one point I was invited to video record Paul Landis from John F. Kennedy's secret service in Dallas. They were a happy fun and friendly and cutting edge group. God Bless you Sylvia ... Peter and Irene Maizitis

Re: “The Flats on Trial

WahWah. I followed this story very closely and has made me wish when I was in school I was more aware of my self defense rights. Truth be told, it's possible that the 4 people were the ones that instigated the fight. I didn't know Larry Davis and Joe Kowalski. I believe they may have been good kids who were led down the wrong path by the two other older men. However I did go to school with one of the 4 who was stabbed but not seriously hurt. He had a reputation for being a troublemaker. He was one even to me. Some who knew him said they were surprised it took so long to happen. It could be rightly said that the person who did the stabbing may have did the stabbing because they simply picked on the wrong person, but the person who did the stabbing just retaliated. In the end, it may not have been actual self defense. If I'm going to defend myself, I would use either pepper spray or a stun gun. A knife is often used to vent your rage on someone. It's possible in the mind of the jury, they felt the defense proved that the 4 started the fight and the stabbings wouldn't have happened if they had not started with him. The jury probably gave Holloway the benefit of the doubt. Most of the people I've talked to say that while they feel it wasn't self defense also feel the 4 instigated the fight. It's a tragedy and a lesson either way you look at it.

Re: “Meet Nico Walker, Cleveland Boy Turned Army Medic Turned Heroin Addict Turned Serial Bank Robber Turned Celebrated Debut Novelist

The author had a chance to do something much more interesting here given that he got the interview, but he just wrote a cliff notes version of the same piece every other publication published.

Re: “On the Road with the Wheelie Kings of Cleveland

i had these assholes run through my 4yr old's tball game at a park. no fucks given.... build you a park so you have some where to go. wtf are you thinking man. how about I demand the city build me a special place to race my truck around and not obey any laws??? I really like drifting, so I should just take over the city streets in an unlicensed truck and do whatever I want? doesn't that sound stupid as hell. by the way, committing a crime and saying well at least I am not doing anything worse is unbelievably stupid. so what if I fuck your wife, but at least it wasn't your mom? how does that make you feel? as a citizen, I don't give a shit what you jerks want to do, find a way to do it legally and safely... or don't do it, jackass... this is not rocket science. the instand that you endangered my kids, is the instant that it became personal to me. this is my home and my city. I deserve safety. I demand it. this is bullshit. #citizensforchange

Re: “The Browns Are Talking About a New Stadium...

Get them off the lakefront. Move them inland. Make a gigantic sports center south of I-90. For all 3 teams together. Make'em share.

Re: “Lies, Damn Lies and the 450 Acres of Prime Real Estate That is Burke Lakefront Airport

Before moving to destroy a perfectly working airport, home to flight schools and a great alternative to CLE, Cleveland should look at redeveloping the eyesore-like derelict industrial areas at the mouth of the Cuyahoga river. Also, Burke is cut off from the city by a highway and train tracks and therefore will be hard to connect to
