Re: “A Moon in Full

I'd like to see a psychiatric analysis of Keith by a trained psychiatrist. I'm sure Fletcher's insights where he speaks of Keith having a mix of psychosis and bipolar disease may start to get to the point, but I long for more. Clearly his behavior was not 'normal' and covered his 'true' personality....or so it seems. I believe he was a fragile, warm, sensitive person who lacked sufficient self esteem to function or to show or receive true love. So we think of nature and any improvements in his feelings about himself Keith made as an adult............or were there any?

Re: “Band of the Week: Dreadlock Dave

Nice! I am definitely going to this show. Dreadlock Dave is fast becoming a Cleveland legend! Happy to see this success coming your way! Was at your who a couple of years ago and it was a totally moving experience. That's another thing! Excellent music to take a date. You will fall in love again and again!!!!

Re: “The Doom Patrol

I realize I'm commenting on a review that's 17 years old. Back in the day, we saw Doom Patrol in concert many times, and "Angel" was constantly on rotation in our house. It's been many years since we lost track of the disc, and we would love to find their music again. Can anyone help? Google has failed me.

Re: “Meet the Band: New Moon Rising

Your domain name has expired. I tried clicking the link.

Clevescene is not big enough for you. It requires you fill in a "neighborhood". But I live in Maine! You guys need to get ready to go international in a BIG way. Skip the romantic love/hate songs (eeeeveryone does boring) and focus on the spiritual, or stuff that really comes from other strong personal emotions. Keep putting your intense, real, FEELINGS into your writing and you'll skyrocket.

Read Marlo Morgan's two books and you'll get a sense of what's coming and your part in bringing it in. Meditate and call to your Inner Being.

Re: “Meet the Band: New Moon Rising

You guys are great! Stumbled across you and LOVE "Child of the Moon". I can SO relate to those feelings. Very spiritual. Feeling the presence of the Divine Feminine. Love the 70's guitar sound too as I was a hippie back then. Very reminiscent of Neil Young.

Re: “He Can't Stop: Bodeans' Frontman Talks About the Band's 30-Year History

Wow. This guy sounds pretty bitter. Could he have said any more negative comments directed at Sam Llanas?
Just move on.

Re: “Band of the Week: Rachel Brown & the Beatnik Playboys

It was a big PR week for the WCPN gave them "VIP" treatment on several of its media platforms.

Re: “Band of the Week: Rachel Brown & the Beatnik Playboys

Early on, before they became better-known, a typo misidentified them as Rachel Brown & the Neatnik Playboys. That concept really intrigued me...a guy who showered and changed the sheets after every conquest? Felix Unger meets Hugh Hefner? Cool! Loved it! LOL funny!

Re: “First Offense

Apparently the adage still rings true. The difference between post industrial Akron and post industrial cleveland? cleveland makes excuses, Akron makes art.

Re: “Band of the Week: Smithfield

I recorded and mixed this album at my studio, The Rukkus Room, in Nashville. I grew up in Strongsville so there's a Cleveland connection to this story. :-)

Re: “An Overview of All the 2016 Releases You Might've Missed

Released yesterday (January 1), Brian Eno's "Reflection" - the album consists of a single 54-minute ambient track - may go gate-to-wire on a number of 2017 top ten lists. It is "Discreet Music" for a new minimalism.
