Over the Rhine/Scott Mulvahill

Fri., June 21, 8 p.m.
The Kent Stage 175 E. Main St., Kent Kent/Portage County

This year signifies 30 years since the alternative rock act Over the Rhine first formed in Cincinnati. To celebrate, the band has hit the road this summer and it brings its tour to the Kent Stage, a venue that the group has played many times, tonight. The tour supports the band’s latest effort, Love & Revelation, another terrific album of plaintive vocals and moody melodies (think Cowboy Junkies with a touch of Lucinda Williams).
