This unique class will introduce you and your child(ren) to vinyasa yoga and meditation in a fun and intriguing way. It is interactive, uses partner poses, and allows for creativity. Drink Tap (DLDT), the local nonprofit organization that aims to "inspire individuals to recognize and solve our water issues," will host its annual 4 Miles 4 Water festival beginning at 8 a.m. today at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. The water-focused festival features a 1-mile walk and a 4-mile race, and offers interactive and educational games for both adults and children. Also, there will be music, food trucks and a cash bar. Strider Cup races give small children a chance to put their Strider Bike skills to the test at several stops across the United States and worldwide. This unique race series caters directly to children 2-6 years old who want to experience the thrill of racing. Children of all sizes and skill levels are welcome to participate. Join us for a geometric paint and meditation workshop! This workshop will begin with 30 minutes of Yin & Meditation, with a special focus on opening up our 3rd eye Chakra and our Heart Chakra. Followed by a flowing 60 minute Mandala painting class. After that, we'll end the evening with a 30 minute guided meditation. This pattern will reinforce a regular dedication to the practice of art & meditation, allowing other distractions and temptations to fall away as a one-pointed focus is achieved.
