Monsters vs. Stockton Heat

The Monsters haven't played well this season and they'll have a tough opponent in the Stockton Heat, a team that boats a winning record and has a shot at the playoffs. The Monsters and Heat go at it at 7 p.m. tonight. It's College ID Night, so student with a valid ID can buy tickets for $6 and receive a $6 college meal that includes a hot dog, chips and a soda. The two teams play again at 7 p.m. on Friday. The special 1-2-3 Friday concession deal includes $1 Pepsi products, $2 Sugardale hot dogs and $3 beers. Tickets to both games start at $10. (Niesel)

Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets

Tue., Feb. 27

The Brooklyn Nets continue to struggle to win games so the Cavaliers should get a breather when the two teams play each other at 7 tonight at the Q. The Nets continue to keep rebuilding around a group of young players that includes Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and D’Angelo Russell, but they have yet to reach the .500 mark for the season. With its roster of young players, the Philadelphia 76ers have slowly started to compete in the Eastern Conference. The team is fighting for one of the last playoff spots and hovered around the .500 mark for most of the season. The 76ers take on the Cavs tonight at 8. Tickets start at $32. (Niesel)

Monsters vs. Tucson Roadrunners

Tonight at 7 at the Q, the Monsters go up the aptly named Tucson Roadrunners, a team with a much better record than the Monsters. The game begins at 7 p.m. and the Monsters will host a Food Drive and give donated canned goods and other non-perishable foods to local food banks. The two teams play again at 3 p.m. on Sunday when its Kids Day. In addition to the food drive, there will be a postgame skate and concession specials for kids. Tickets to both games start at $10. Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons

Mon., March 5

The Detroit Pistons made one of the season's biggest trades earlier this year when the team acquired power forward Blake Griffin from the Los Angeles Clippers. When healthy, Griffin is a force to be reckoned with and should help the Pistons as they push toward the playoffs. Tonight's game against the Cavs begins at 7 at the Q. Tickets are $23. (Niesel)

NCAA DIII Wrestling Championships

Fri., March 9, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sat., March 10, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

In March 2018, Cleveland will welcome some of the nation’s top student-athletes to its downtown to compete for a Division III NCAA National Championship. This event will bring $1 million in economic impact to City of Cleveland and its surrounding areas. NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships will be held on March 9-10, 2018 at Cleveland's historic Public Auditorium. Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) and Baldwin Wallace University are proud to host this event and share the experience with Northeast Ohio’s wrestling fans. $8-$40

2018 NCAA DI Wrestling National Championships

Thu., March 15, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Fri., March 16, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sat., March 17, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Cleveland will welcome some of the nation’s top student-athletes to compete for a NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship title in front of a sold-out crowd at Quicken Loans Arena on March 15-17, 2018. As one of the NCAA’s signature championships, this event will provide upwards of $15 million in economic activity for Northeast Ohio. NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship, hosted in partnership with Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) and the Mid-American Conference (MAC), features six sessions over the three-day competition which will bring 330 student-athletes, 500 coaches and over 30,000 spectators to Northeast Ohio.
