The Way Down Wanderers

The Way Down Wanderers draw from bluegrass and Americana. Grammy-winner David Schiffman (Johnny Cash, HAIM, Rage Against The Machine) produced the group’s independent sophomore album, illusions. It offers “songs that bridge a raw enthusiasm for life with the sobering reality of how quickly time passes.” The band even created a conceptual stop-motion music video for the album’s title track. They perform tonight at 7 at the Happy Days Lodge in Peninsula as part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Concert Series. An ancient art is fun, immediate and can be made into many things. Enameling is the melting of colored glass crystals onto metal.
